The Young Presidents' Organization dates back to 1950, when Ray Hickok founded the group. Since its inception, the organization has positively influenced the lives of tens of thousands of business professionals worldwide. Offering education and serving as a platform to share ideas, the not-for-profit group values the development of young business leaders who serve in executive roles.
As of the beginning of 2016, the YPO had 24,000 members, working in more than 130 countries. The membership includes a variety of entrepreneurs as well as family business owners and professional managers. From sales to manufacturing, their backgrounds are diverse. Members have access to specialized networking opportunities, educational resources, and unique experiences through hundreds of local chapters, which remain operational with the support of millions of employees.
